Daughter of John and Lauren. Meeka was adopted in January 2023. Originally born in Texas, she was brought to Ohio by a rescue. Listed as a Samoyed/Sheltie mix, Lauren saw her picture on Petfinder, convinced John to drive to Ohio the next day "just to meet her". It seemed like the perfect fit since Lauren grew up with Samoyeds and John grew up with Shelties. Long story short, Meeka conned them into taking her home to Michigan that very day and she now lives a very spoiled life as an only child who, according to a DNA test, is 41% Great Pyrenees, 16% Border Collie, 0% Samoyed, 0% Sheltie.
